The Sword Called Excalibur
On Monday, May 9, Children’s Stage Adventure actors/educators, Joshua Sellers and Zoe Teets, auditioned and cast approximately 65 students, from the third, fourth and fifth grade for the production of The Sword Called Excalibur. In just five days all the songs, lines, dances and staging are learned. The public performance of the final production takes place on Friday, May 13, at 6:00.

Zoe Teets
Hello! My name is Zoe Teets: I'm 26 and hail from the great Queen City: Cincinnati, Ohio. I have an older brother who lives in Seattle, Washington and works for the National Labor Relations Board as a lawyer. My Mom and Step-dad live in Cincinnati along iwth my step sister, step-brother, and nieces and nephews. My love for theatre began very early and throughout middle school and high school the stage became an oasis where I could, ironically, be myself. My theatrical passions include comedy, puppetry, storytelling and mask.
When not performing or inventing performances, I love to read, knit, bike, and laugh. I love delving into a new community and experiencing what makes your town unique. As a history buff and architecture fiend, I'm eager to explore the historically rich area of New England for the first time! The Zoe food pyramid consists of coffee, ice cream, and not-too-spicy foods (although I have a feeling chowder will soon be added to the list!) I have no allergies to food or pets and love furry companions of all sizes. Thank you for opening your school to us and I look forward to meeting you!

Hello! My name is Joshua Sellers- I'm 29 and from Memphis, Tennessee where I grew up with my mother, brother, father and a whole host of dogs. I first became interested in "the theatre" when I was four years old and played a shepherd in my preschool's Nativity Pageant. I spent the next year working my tail off and come that next December it was me leading Mary into Bethlehem on the donkey. See, hard work really does pay off! And basically I've been doing the same thing ever since, the only difference being that now I am privileged enough to make a living off of it and meet wonderful people like yourselves.
I've spent the last three years touring the eastern half of the U.S. and I've learned that what makes "life on the road" so enjoyable is immersing yourself in the communities you're working in. My favorite thing in the world to do is to explore new places and meet new people. So I hope we'll get a chance to share with each other and you can teach me abou the community and land that you live in . Thank you so much for opeing up your school to me!
